| So, which state and who? What about special conditions or exclusions etc? I got ours with "Just Cars" in NSW at what seemed like competitive rates and no extra "grey import excess". No free windscreen cover included though. The major mainstream companies won't touch it. Eg, AAMI, NRMA, GIO etc. Incidentaly, the SC was cheaper to insure than a Delica . _________________ Cheers, Rob.

| Excess is $600 and yearly premium is $800 and a bit. Forgot exactly how much and can't find it right now. I think the pound is like 2.5 x more valuable than our dollar, roughly. _________________ Cheers, Rob.

| I tried Shannons, twice, but both times refused. I understand their policy on only insuring "car enthusiasts", but franky... the people I talked to were just pricks. I've insured with Just Car - $625 (just got a call, they misquoted and charged me. $108 refund, so $517) premium, $400 excess. Just Car is underwritten by the same company as AAMI, and I was with AAMI for the last 6 years and loved them. |

| I am insured with Shannons at $623 per year full comprehensive valued at $12,000 with $500 excess also includes insurance of $5,000 for tools stored in garage. Just cars sounds pretty good though, might have to give them a call! |

| I just noticed that I didn't put in the value it was $14,000. We were like Talman, we have been with AAMI (The pensioner section AAPIA) for many years and are very happy with them. Shannons looks similar in pricing tho. |

| Whenever I've rung Shannons, they want the vehicle in the garage. How can you gaurantee that? Especially a tall van..... I've given up on Shannons. My other vehicle is with AAMI. Have been with AAMI for years. 2 claims, both dealt with in a good manner. Just Cars asked for an imobiliser for the SC, but that was fine as the dealer had one fitted for us knowing this was desired by insurance agents in Aus. _________________ Cheers, Rob.

| HI there, It seems a bit high. Here in NZ to renew my Full insurance this month on Hiace SC 2.4EFI $341 , with $250 excess. Not sure if being a 2.4 makes it a lot cheaper? Cheers Martin. |

| Good point don't know whether the petrol is cheaper, our old Ace was 2.4 but just with our regular APIA lot. |
