| Guys,
New to the forum but I'm looking to import a '06 (new shape) HIACE (3.0L DX Long) from Japan. It's to convert to a windsurfing van (with 2.8m load space!) and I was wondering who you guys would recommend to go through - either UK import or Japanese export company. I know it's not a Super Custom, and I do love them, but I need the load space and the '06 - '09 HIACEs are my only option. Would you always use a company or just do it yourself (I hear bad things about IBC but good about Avongroup etc...) any stories - I'm very interested in all your experiences (it'll be used next year to travel the west coast of Scotland).
Thanks in advance, Tim. |

| Cheers Bob, I looked at Algys - the one thing stopping me is the pound being poor against the yen right now. Back in Jun 2007 I could buy the van I want for £4500, today the same van costs me £7680 ! I am waiting until Japan gets a bit cheaper. Thanks for the link bud. |
