Been using the ace pretty much constantly since mid december due to the unusually mild weather we're having Very Happy .... the bimmer is officially useless.

As it is my second motor i had a limited mileage policy with adrian flux, pretty reasonable it was too.... but because of the use i was getting close to my limit. I phoned up to enquire about extending this, 26 for an additional 2000 miles of 68 unlimited... couldn't really complain and wish i'd asked this to begin with, just thought i'd share for anyone in a similar situation !

off to brave yet more snow.... though i do wonder how much better a 4wd would actually be at the mo..... Exclamation

I agree. We have tried to beat their quote many times, but Adrian Flux have always come through as the best quote. Also, they don't give you loads of hassle about the fact that it is a modified import etc...

Adrien Flux wont insure my Hiace as it's for bussiness as well as pleasure, we've also had trouble in the past trying to insure our cars with them and some of the quotes were very high.

Adrian Flux have insured me twice before on ancient and/or imported toyota mpvs; and they quoted me for my hiace super custom year before last and last year - but this year, they are refusing to do insurance on this van for me. this means i'm now restricted to just one insurance provide - Tesco are the only people who will give me a quote of less than 1500.

Sad

A real ball ache.....this year they would'nt provide cover for an 8 seater...I've unbolted the passenger seat to comply for 7 seats...on the plus side still less than 300. There seems to be a growing agenda from companies against imports in UK though...

I've got a High Ace Camper pop top (1993 2.8ltr) and insured it through the Camping and Caravannings Club Care Free Insurance. It's cost me 201 for the year, and that includes commuting to work which is pretty darn good as a few other supposedly-great-for-insuring-your-camper-companies wouldn't include commuting. Cheaper than insuring my old Skoda Octaivia 1.9SDi....
