| Hi all. I have just bought myself a 1992 Super Custom 2.4 EFi. Site has been very helpful regarding a manual for the motor. I hope I can also give some useful info too. I will be (time allowing) servicing the bus this weekend. BTW I have ordered most parts from Unipart in Liverpool. Let you know after I picked them up tomorrow if they are the correct bits. I don't see why not. I thought it would have been more difficult to source parts being an import. Well let you know how I get on. Can some one tell me where the air filter is located. I cannot see anything remotly resembling one. ttfn |

| Welcome mate! Air filter is located behind driver side front wheel just underneath near the plastic mudguard, black round lid just undo the wing nut.  |

| Give the nut a good spray with wd40 before attempting as it will probably bend the wingnut if it hasnt been off for a while.The wingnut inside will probably be ok. |

| Aaaaah! So thats what it is! I saw it this evening while getting the oil filter number off the filter and just having a good nose. It didn't occur to me it could be what I was looking for. Toyota do put things in the most strange places. I'll go out now and give the nut a squirt. |

| Done. Its really rusted on I hope the bolt doesn't snap tomorrow. Obvioulsy hasn't been changed in a while. Oh yea sorry about the advert er I shall be more discrete in future.  |

| Now I have the air filter there isn't a part number. I have the first part from the manual which is 17801 but there are many with this number. Its a cylindrical filter and the dimensions are hight 280mm diameter 132mm the hole in the top is 80mm and just a hole for the bolt at the bottom.
If anyone has the part number I would appreciate it.
Another thing is the timing belt is it the same timing belt for a L100 as an L102? As long as they are both having the 2LT engine. |

| Thanks all for your help. I have to give my old air filter to the motor factor guy to pass onto his supplier to match it up. Now I have the P/N. Next time it will be easy... famous last words.
I did get my old filter back and now the new one is in. Had to charge my battery up last night as it was standing for a week and in this cold weather we are having its not really suprising |
