I have spoken to Dave and he did offer to put it on his sale frontage for me.
He also told me what price to accept for it. He 's a nice bloke and a motorcyclist as well, same as myself. In fact I lost my leg in a motorcycle accident and Dave has recently broke his leg whilst riding a motorcyle. In fact he's been in hospital this last week, I believe to have an op. on his tib & fib.
Apparently the semi high tops don't fetch as much as the converted high tops, for the obvious reason that if your more than 5ft 4" you can't stand upright in them.
Anyway it didn't quite reach reserve on E-bay, but I have had an improved offer since.
