Take a lot of piccies mate. With the 2 rads and the aircon there isn't much room for heat exchanger in front, but like you say impossible is a challenge. Good luck.

If you can live without the aircon why not fit it where its heat exchanger lives?

Don't completely agree on that one - depends a lot on the pipework bore size - intercooler on the Mazda Bongo has loads of long pipework but it doesn't lag....................... Very Happy

I think I would chip before aftercooling.. When I win the lotto I'll look at DP chips or one of the others.    http://www.dpchip.com/

Hi, sounds like a good challange. Just remember these vehicles are very limited in there coolent cooling abilities because of very retricted airflow through the front to the main radiator. These are Jap domestic vehicles and were never designed to do the things we like to do with them like load up the boat and tow up long hills on hot Summer days ha! An intercooler would be sweet but front mounted would limit airflow to the main radiator even more, not to mention heat up the air that does go through! I have been snooping around the possibility of a water to air intercooler. Very compact with alot less piping. Below are 2 links to great pics Ive just found.
