i've not done anything to the funbus for a while, so this morning i had a play with the grill, it's painted a silvery grey but has now got a few stone chips, and looking at the stone chips i noticed the grill was chrome under the paint, so one razor blade and about 2 hours later i have a nice new grill.

Cheers, wheels are quite hard to find.
The Japs certainly know how to pimp a van up.

Thought i'd post an up date for the funbus, she's been off the road for the last month as it had some rust that i wanted sorted, so a restoration company in Sway have got it, & once they've sorted the bodywork, they're going to paint it a new Peugeot colour, it's a pretty metallic ice blue.

Anyway, here's some pictures of it so far.

Windows out & stripping started.

Some of the rust that needs sorting.

Rust around rear window, not to bad, mainly surface rust.

Bottom of the drivers door.

Another bodyshop had a go at this two years ago, and last year the paint started bubbling. When the guys that have got it now started rubbing back, they found a huge hole filled with fiberglass, not good.

Hole under the windscreen rubber.

Small hole on passenger door.

Rust & hole under the rear spoiler.

Taking it back to bare metal & fixing the rust & holes.

Drivers door rust cut out & new piece put in.

Passenger door repaired.

Windscreen hole repaired.

Bottom of passenger door rust cut out & new piece put in.

Rust under rear spoiler cut out & replaced with new piece.

Well that's it so far, hopefully get some more pics soon.
