Good Day can I request for a copy of your manual and if ever , do you have also a wiring manual for a super custom? Can you help me on this because the light indicators on the P R N D 2 L on the Dashboard of my Hi Ace are not working and also the reverse light and warnings. This happened when it submerged in flood in our area during teh storm last July.

Hi, does this manual cover the gearbox?

I have issues with my gear box not going into reverse when it has been running (strangely fine when it is cold). So I was thinking of buying one off a hiace that is being broken for spares but wouldn't like to attempt to change it without instructions. If you are able to hook me up I would be willing to pay for your trouble. 0113 2165480

2L & 3L ENGINES only!!


Have you checked the Auto Fluid level when the engine is hot & running?
Once the fluid gets hot/ travelled a few miles, the torque convertor fills with fluid, less for the autochange. If you check the fluid cold with the engine cold and it is correct on the dipstick it needs more fluid - approx 750mm difference between hot & cold.
Alternatively change the fluid.
Try the cheap options first!

Thanks for the offer of look ups mate, can you tell me where the engine number is stamped on the 3ltr please. By the manual I d'loaded it's supposed to be on the pump side but on mine that is just a blank

Mine is on the Engine Block (3L engine 2779cc) on the Injection Pump side. Stamped under the Thermostat housing - might need a clean with a rag as the Number Branding is not very deep.

Thanks will have another look. Thermostat on mine is under the turbo tho.
