My 2.8 Cruising cabin has started to make a noise at the front when I go over a traffic calming bump at slow speeds (5 mph). The suspension makes a significant creak which wasn't there previously-it is only 12,000 genuine miles but is a 1998 model. It only gets used once a week at the moment, but was fine going to france last summer. Anyone got any ideas before I seek a garage for help?

You could look at the rubber bump stops ...see if there's been alot of contact...add a silicone grease to contact areas. Also check the shocks have not leaked If thats no help then get it examined fully....

Give the suspension a god skoosh with WD40 - especially around the bump rubbers - if it stops creaking, get hold of some silicon spray to last longer. Unlikely to be a worn ball joint at that mileage
