 spasmodic digital fuel gauge.

PostSubject: spasmodic digital fuel gauge.   Sat Mar 19, 2011 11:44 pm

My fuel gauge appears to register only sometimes and can show empty when the tank is full.
Before I dismantle the van to find the sender unit. I would appreciate any advise on where it is located and
whether I am looking in the right direction. Question

Sender unit are known to be dysfunctional, it is in the fuel tank which you will need to drop to get to it.
