yes it can mine has been removed for a wheelchair hoist.

I am buying a motorbike and might need to put it in the back.
How is it done? Undo some bolts I suppose.

Yep they just unbolt. Some times you need to remove plastic coverings to get at the bolts. Youl see, it easy!

Yes just unbolt, disengage the slider release cable and unbolt, leave the slider brackets in the slider as these are useful as strapping points to tie down whatever beast you put in. I had a cruiser in the back of mine needed to turn the middle row through 90 degrees then there was loads of room.

I took the easy option and found a man with a van, but it may be useful info for the future... you never know.
btw. its just a Kawasaki er5

Its a piece of cake after the first time doing it once I figured it out it only takes 10 minutes.
