Hi, never heard of a Super Custom Camper until a couple of weeks ago, went with a friend to look at one and a week or two later ended up with my own. Love the forum as it has answered many questions. Here are some photos hope you like them. Very Happy

Thanks, it is quite cramped due to the shower and toilet, but it means we can have ago at rough camping.

I see the spare wheel is bolted on the front, usually its under the fuel tank at the back, I wonder if it has a larger fuel tank - 100ltr?

The spare wheel is on the front as there is a on board waste water tank fitted at the rear. A waste pipe from the shower tray and sink runs into the tank.

Inside are two water tanks, one for hot water and the other for cold, the hot water is heated from the engine coolant pipes running through the tank.

All kitted out to be self contained.

How is that spare tire attached? I would like to do the same w/ mine. I think it looks sweet (in a VW sort of way) and is very practical in terms of accessing the tyre when you get a flat. It would also improve clearance in the back end.

A picture of how it is attached would be worth a thousand words...

On my camper I have bolted my spare tyre on the Tailgate using an Isuzu Trooper Mounting and saddle. With a tasteful Tyre/Wheel cover. Took the inside trim off and drilled through, attached the mounting with 4 sturdy bolts and plates. Only slight problem is visibility in the reversing distance mirror on the back.
As I do not use the tailgate (very very rarely), the extra weight in getting it open is not a problem.
I use a clothes prop if I need to work on the back end.

Zoochy,

I know I emailed the pics, but thought others may be interested to see them too.
