HAS ANY ONE DONE THIS ADDATION, CONVERSION.
SEEMS LIKE THE IN THING AT THE MOMENT.
IS THE FUEL CONSUMPTION ANY BETTER, PROBLEMS ETC.

Right first you don't energy for nothing so it is not a fuel replacement.
I had one and it was only used for long cruising and it worked well. Yes consumption was down a little, but the main plus was the engine was so smooth.
I did use it around town but the extra load on the alt used more fuel than it saved in my opinion.

91 SC2,4 /2wd...........recently installed system. I posted elsewhere with limited highway driving I have only been able to do a short test...........30% better fuel economy........as important to me is the marked reduction in the typical diesel stink. I expect it to be reduced further when the engine is clear of carbon deposits. Will also need a larger alternator and then with more gas production get better fuel economy yet.
