Got basically given a 95 Super Custom Fulltime 4WD 1KZ, KZH106,G294,- Yessss!
Hideous clunking noise when under slight strain, - Noooo!
Told I could replace the stretched transfer chain easily - Yessss!
Chain cost $900 from Toyota - Nooo!
Got it and replaced it relatively easily - Yesss!
Drove it felt great no clunk until I pulled back into the driveway (clunk!) - Nooo!
It also feels like the clutch is slipping in one axle so the revs go up but the speed remains the same.
Can anyone give me an idea of whats going on or does anyone know of a mechanic who specializes in Super Customs anywhere in the western speaking world?
Please I've had a very big week and could do with some good solid advice.
