First stop would be your Toyota dealer, to see how much an original spare would be TBH, some things there are quite reasonable - I'm not sure it that is one of them...

By windscreen trim you mean the rubber right?

I ordered the 56121-95J03 part, from http://www.advanceauto.co.th/our-products/windshield-rubber.html/

I'm not sure if you need exactly the same. But it was $35 dollar and I asked for cheaper shipping so it was $40 dollar shipping.

I got it now, but I haven't used it yet so I cannot say what the quality is our how it fits.

hello,
thanks for reply's , its not the rubber I am looking for , its a plastic trim that fits over the rubber along the bottom of the screen , I can get the rubber seal from the Toyota dealer (82) rip off, but not the trim , thanks

ps. I see you have a snorkel, I got one for my ace, but it was like someone was blowing a trumpet in my ear all the time ( right hand drive ) so I dumped it. regards chris

I can't see it as a seperate part in the parts system. I do know that there were rubbers available with and without a chrome strip (probably plastic with chrome on it)
So perhaps it is part of the rubber?
(I don't have this strip so I don't know)

Yeah the snorkel is giving some extra sound. Ours is a LHD drive, but it can still annoy passengers. Although it may not be so bad in our case as you describe.
I'm going to add some sound isolation.

The plastic shrinks over the years and leaves a gap exposing the screen bonding. Don't think it leaks at all.

Ah, OK. I guess Toyota secure their old screens in much the same way as other car companies, I wonder if you can get some generic trim for it that fits?

It was quite popular back in the 1980s and 90s on lots of cars.
e.g: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Saab-96-1960-1980-Windscreen-Rear-Screen-Plastic-Chrome-Moulding-Trim-/271887589044?hash=item3f4dc35eb4:g:0BwAAOSwBahVbH2X

The sellers might have what you want too.
