Well done. Bit more realistic. Understand that vehicle insurance in the UK is horrendous. Don't know how people can run a car!!!! Perhaps someone can let us know.

Count me in on that DJ, I'm with Just Cars and pay monthly, and it's $98 per month - ridiculous!

Think yourself lucky, the average cost of insurance in the UK for a 17 year old is 4,000 pounds, thats $6,720 pa and thats an average and it doesn't matter the value of the car!!!!!!!!!!!

i am with shannons agreed value of 14000 and it costs me 175 a quater.
i trued nrma but would only cover for 7000 abd were 150 a quater

Being old my Hiace cost me 209 full cover for everything, my Townace 219 when I changed, almost a 1/3 of the engine size less, slower, smaller go figure? Last renewal was 201 this year.

Just Cars put ours up to $498 with $600 excess for $10000. Glad we have never had a claim Smile

We are with Shannons and pay monthly ..$52.51..for $14000..cover..never had a claim either Laughing, but still moves up each year ..

Insurance used to be a big deal, but I found last year RACV had SuperCustom included in their online quote, and it was much much cheaper than the others - for a Third Party Only insurance
