PostSubject: Wire route from battery to rear.   Fri Mar 16, 2018 8:33 pm

Hi, I'm setting up a split charge relay to charge a leisure battery in the back but need to get a thick wire through from the batteries in the engine compartment. Has anyone done this and found an easy way to get it through? Thanks

I'm going to do the same and my thoughts are running it through the trim behind the side step to the rear where my battery will sit in a trimmed box

You can run it through the side, if you don't have a sliding dooor on that side.
You can also remove the floor and put it in the maze of gutters in the steel floor. I thought I was able to put a 12 to 14mm thick cable there, like 35mm2
There are also several points where there are drainage holes with rubbers, so you could do the cable under the car.

That are the options. Do protect the cable wherever there are sharp metal edges.
