where's the oil filter located on the 2.8d ... cant see it from above .... just want to know the general location before I start removing all the sump guards......

Take off the transverse sump guard. 12mm socket - You will need an socket extension to get to the chassis bolts. This is all the access you need.

The Oil Filter is near/inboard the Offside front wheel - sometimes the filter is horizontal and sometimes vertical. A Filter Wrench is recommended.

On mine it is vertical and its messy to remove!!
