JZ's are 6 cylinders aren't they? I reckon you'd be better off putting a turbo on a 3RZ or fitting a 1UZFE V8. Jas

An inline 6 wouldn't fit. Too long. Maybe a 3.4 or 4lt V6 from a Hilux would be best fit for a bigger N/A.

It has been done, along with sr20det's , 350 chevs you name it. You can put just about any motor in a local aussie hiace coz they are a commercial vehicle. Super custom is a different story coz is passenger vehicle. Dont know where you are from lh123 so your skills and/or budget are your limit. youtube hiace 1jz.

1UZ is the easiest and most practical, usung a JZ would mean alot more pipework and losing the heat from the turbos in an enclosed space wouldn't be easy. Try the Lextreme forums for more info. I'm doing mine over winter along we some other changes.

ive had a mazda rotary and a subaru wrx, so now a prefer just to cruise .....Plus if i wanted it fast i wouldn't have decked out the back in custom boxes ;o) |
