Is anyone out there in the UK with a camper version of the Hiace interested in joining a club for owners?

I am in negotiations with Dave at Poplar Motors (Chesterfield) to set up a club for owners of any Hiace (not just SC). Hopefully he will provide tech advice, discounts on servicing and accessoroes etc plus maybe sponsor a web page for us. Poplar are specialists in import and sale of Japanese campers.

I am hoping the club would be free for members to join and run entirely electronically. Members =could share stories, tips, advice and maybe even social occasions involving a glass or two of something appropriate.

Sounds good up for meets/ outings next year (when its warmer for camp trips) pop motors always freindly

dave at Poplar is friendly but the camping club is taking a little while to get off the ground - he is going to contact all his customers and see if anyone wants to play - so it may be a while before there is any news.
